Ate O'Clock

Since taking over in 2017, brothers Ali, Ahmet and Savas have taken Ate O'Clock from strength to strength. With numerous menu changes, countless licks of paint, several new chairs and tables, a new retractable roof and even a full refurbishment and redesign in 2022. With the addition of 2 new dining areas and even a lounge area next door, they have made Ate O'Clock the restaurant we are so proud to work for and invite you to today.

In the heart of York, tucked away down an arched alleyway draped in fairy lights, you almost stumble across us. Once inside we have been described as 'The Tardis' 'Wonderland' and even 'The wardrobe leading to Narnia' with indoor dining rooms and a covered courtyard area, which has been uniquely adapted to make the most of those warm sunny summer evenings and be warm and cosy on those cold winter evenings. (Keep an eye out for the face in the wall too)

With a range of menus to choose from, including dedicated Gluten Free and Vegetarian/Vegan menus there really is something for everyone. We also have a lounge area Social8 conveniently located next door. Serving a fantastic selection of cocktails and a menu of brunch, lunch and small plates if you are looking for a nibble with a chilled glass of wine.
