Liz Lewis Counselling
Therapeutic support for your mental health and emotional wellbeing
Life can be very challenging and sometimes it feels too much for us to cope with alone. Counselling offers a safe space for you to be heard, to explore what is causing you pain or not working in your life, and to figure out how to move forward in a way that's right for you.
I am an experienced humanistic counsellor with an MA in Counselling from York St John University. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges and issues, both on a short-term and long-term basis. Areas of focus include (but are not limited to) anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationships, family issues, bereavement, suicidal thoughts, abuse and trauma.
As an Accredited Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I work to high professional and ethical standards. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, fully compliant with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and have the appropriate comprehensive insurance to work in private practice as a counsellor. I am happy to provide more information in simple, practical terms on what this means for you as a client.
“It is always a pleasure to welcome new clients to my counselling practice, and an enormous privilege to help them move towards a more positive and fulfilling life. Please do get in touch to find out how counselling could help you. ”
