Authentic with a modern twist, our food and drink is crafted by our well-traveled and technically astute team. New discoveries and seasons inspire our menus whether it is marinated grilled fish and meats, delicious tortillas or para picar (small nibbles) paired with trans-atlantic craft beers and one-of-a-kind gins.
In our basement bar you can experience our laid-back yet lively atmosphere and find out what makes Sotano the perfect underground hideaway in which to meet, eat and see the night away. On Tuesday evenings our basements hosts our popular open mic night aptly named 'Something Good', where you can see some of York best undiscovered talent.
Our first floor boasts a large outdoor terrace perfect for sipping sangria in the summer sun or cuddling up under the heaters when the seasons get a little colder!
