Space York offers affordable, inclusive co-working and meeting spaces for individuals and small businesses located in the heart of York city centre.
Space was set up by a group of individuals working in the creative, cultural, digital, and community sectors. Now our membership has grown to include a wide range of industries which make up our community. We’re passionate about bringing people together and creating a work environment where people feel valued and supported. We cater for a wide range of industries and working patterns, including local freelance, self-employed, small businesses as well as those remote working.
We are located in a light, spacious loft area above Brew York, on Walmgate.
At Space we offer desks on a monthly membership basis, and meeting rooms for non-members to hire out. We aim to provide membership solutions which work for both your working needs and our community as a whole, therefore we don’t currently offer casual hot desking. As a dog friendly workplace, we love having our canine friends as part of the wider membership!
Space York is community-led, run by volunteers, and our aim is to serve as a hub promoting social and cultural innovation in York.
Space York is a registered nonprofit community interest company (no. 14421890).
