Twenty Two Kicks

Here at Twenty Two Kicks we sell pre-loved footwear that has been professionally cleaned prior to sale. Our mission is to try and reduce the amount of footwear that goes to landfill each year by creating a more sustainable and affordable footwear market.

Twenty Two Kicks was founded by local business women Krissy and Toni Wainwright in 2022. Like so many others, when the first lockdown was introduced, we quickly found that our spending habits changed dramatically. With the cost of living crisis in full swing, we decided to make some changes in how we shopped. The main change for both of us was buying used, pre-loved footwear for the first time, instead of buying brand new. We soon realised that not only was this option a lot cheaper and better for the environment, but with the right cleaning tools and a lot of patience, we were able to get most of the shoes back to looking like new!

Our aim today is to end the stigma around buying and wearing pre-loved footwear. We understand that unlike clothing items that are bought second hand, shoes are much harder to clean. But this is where we come in. All our footwear is cleaned to the highest standards prior to sale, and any and all marks will be listed. We always sell our footwear for well under retail meaning one thing... you can buy more for your money.

We also offer a sneaker cleaning service for those who would like to get the most out of their existing footwear. By cleaning and reusing your sneakers, even for another 12 months, you're reducing the amount of shoes going to landfill each year and doing your bit to help the environment!
