Accessible York for Families – a NEW online guide by York Mumbler
York Mumbler has recently published a comprehensive, FREE online guide for families with accessibility, autism-friendly, sensory-friendly or audio-described needs. Working with local charities, attractions and businesses to bring together as much information as they could find to help families with accessibility or additional support needs in York.
"It's something we have been really passionate about, to ensure that we can be as inclusive and comprehensive as possible to all families. We've always tried to cover events, attractions and activities that do particularly well for children and families with additional needs, but we've recently put a real concerted effort into bringing this into one place and making it even easier to find the information that families need" says York Mumbler founder, Emily Pickard.
"There are so many places in the city that are inclusive and welcoming to everyone so we wanted to make it easier for you to find them all. We’d love to encourage businesses to get in touch if you think you have something to offer."
